Overview

3-D Fire Protection is a subsidiary of Western States Fire Protection (WSFP). WSFP and its subsidiaries specialize in Life Safety Systems and have protected lives and property since 1985. This is a bargaining unit position under the Local 669 Union, with insurance and other benefits included in the Local 669 Union Collective Bargaining Agreement. The Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman oversees the work of apprentices and serves as a pipefitting specialist in the fire protection industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping
• Install and service a variety of fire protection equipment such as standpipes, carbon dioxide systems, halon systems, foam systems and dry chemical systems
• Travel within the state to work on various locations/job sites as necessary
• Comply with the Local 669 union collective bargaining agreement
• Operate safely
• Willingness to teach and oversee apprentices

Qualifications

• Must become a member of the UA Local Union 669 Road Sprinkler Fitters
• At least 18 years old
• At least 5 years of experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willing to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to climb ladders
• Strong mechanical background preferred
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check

• Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
