Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an experienced installer to lay out and install fire sprinkler systems on commercial sites. You will read blueprints, use hand tools, and ensure installation meets NFPA standards and local codes. You’ll document work, communicate with customers and teammates, and travel to job sites as required.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in the fire and life safety field, and a clean driving record. NICET Level I+ is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler system installation practices.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.

• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete assigned tasks.

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Support and assist entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay

$18 to $27 depending on fire sprinkler experience. Weekly pay. Company vehicle.
