Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking a Sprinkler Install Technician to independently install fire sprinkler systems. You will interpret blueprints, use hand tools, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes, reporting installation progress and maintaining a clean, safe work site.

3+ years in the fire and life safety industry preferred; NICET Level I or above preferred; must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in fire and life safety as apprentice or technician preferred.
• NICET Level I or above preferred; clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Complete documentation and installation reports accurately and timely.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
