  • Interpret and apply information from architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil drawings.
  • Conduct field surveys, including taking measurements and verifying site conditions, which may require physical activity such as climbing ladders and stairs.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including design, procurement, fabrication scheduling, coordination with other trades, and project oversight.
  • Submit required materials (permits, drawings, insurance documentation) to appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, labor, and material costs to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, management, field personnel, and other trades.
  • Collect and manage contract paperwork, including Certificates of Insurance, Tax Exemption Certificates, and Contractor Registrations.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, both in the office and on project sites.
Qualifications

  • NICET Level I certification required.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent training in Design & Drafting Technology is a plus.
  • Experience with project management and direct oversight of projects and personnel.

  • Proficiency in AutoSprink 3D; experience with ACAD design software and BIM is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
