Job summary

Century Fire Protection in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to create accurate, detailed fire protection designs for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. You’ll take projects from design through approval and work closely with field teams to ensure systems are ready to be installed right.

Responsibilities include designing systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge), performing design calculations, obtaining permits, preparing submittals and fabrication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–6 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Experience with AutoSPRINK preferred; SprinkCAD, AutoCAD, or HydroCAD also a plus.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–6 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce constructible designs.
• Experience with AutoSPRINK preferred; SprinkCAD, AutoCAD, or HydroCAD also a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word and Excel.
