Job summary

Cosco Fire Protection seeks an experienced CAD Drafter to support the Engineering department by preparing routine layouts of fire sprinkler systems, detail drawings, and diagrams. You will ensure all views and dimensions support installation and maintain updated design records.

Responsibilities include revising layouts, converting dimensions, submitting plans for approvals, and coordinating design changes with lead designers. Proficiency in CAD and NFPA 13 knowledge preferred, NICET a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD design for fire protection systems.
• Ability to perform basic geometry and calculations.
• Familiarity with NFPA 13 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Designs fire protection sprinkler layouts with accuracy for field installation.
• Reviews work orders to determine critical dimensions within hours.
• Calculates figures converting design dimensions for production and installation.
• Submits designs for approval and notes changes in the database.
