Qualifications

• Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge are required.

• Ability to train others and work under supervision.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; ability to enroll for Fire Sprinkler License.

Responsibilities

• Assist and learn under Sprinkler Technician Journeymen in installing pipe systems and valves.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond pipes and tubes per specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings; replace worn components.
• Learn to follow blueprints and calculate material measurements to meet specifications.
• Learn proper installation techniques; other duties may be assigned.
