Job summary

Summit Fire & Security LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice in Rogers, AR. You will assist in laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems and sprinklers under the guidance of Journeymen. Ideal candidates are coachable, mechanically inclined, and able to read blueprints and perform basic math.

Qualifications include HS diploma and enrollment/certification for a Fire Sprinkler License. Local travel may be required, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.
• Basic math, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to train others and work with minimal supervision.
• Proven customer service and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sprinkler Technician Journeymen with installing pipe systems and valves.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond pipes and tubes per specifications.
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units, and fittings.
• Learn to follow blueprints to meet product specifications and material measurements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
