State Systems in Memphis, TN is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice to join our growing fire protection team. You will support licensed sprinkler fitters with installation, service, inspection, and repair of fire sprinkler systems on-site.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn a skilled trade. You must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors or in confined spaces; NICET certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in various environments.
• NICET certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed sprinkler fitters with installation, service, inspection, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, pipe, fittings, and materials.
• Cut, thread, assemble, and bond piping and tubing according to specifications under foreman supervision.
• Maintain safe work practices, tools, and equipment.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Operate mobile devices for field documentation
