State Systems, Inc. is seeking a dependable Fire Sprinkler Technician in Memphis, TN to install, inspect, test and document fire sprinkler systems. You will ensure compliance with codes and safety standards while working on high-quality protection systems.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and team collaboration. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a clean driving record; NICET certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of fire sprinkler experience preferred.
• NICET certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain fire sprinkler piping and related systems.
• Cut, thread, assemble, and bond piping and tubing according to specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, valves, and fittings.
• Remove and replace worn components as needed.
• Calculate material measurements and verify specifications.
• Mentor and coach fire sprinkler helpers on proper repair and service techniques.
• Conduct inspections and testing on all types of water-based fire sprinkler systems.
• Learn to troubleshoot system issues and recommend resolutions to supervisors.
