FSS Technologies in Michigan is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice to learn the trade under experienced fitters and foremen. This entry-level, hands-on role requires hardworking individuals with no prior fire sprinkler experience.

You will train on installing systems, reading blueprints, and handling tools, while maintaining safety and daily paperwork. This full-time, field-based position offers on-the-job training, clear career progression, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• No prior fire sprinkler experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Full-time, field-based role working from active job sites within the assigned service area.

• Learn to install commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems.
• Assist with installing pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, and sprinkler heads.
• Learn to read blueprints and sprinkler drawings.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Load and unload materials at the job site.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Complete daily paperwork and communicate with your supervisor.

FSS Technologies is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice to learn the fire sprinkler trade under the direction of experienced fitters and foremen. This is an entry-level, hands‑on role for someone who is hardworking, dependable, and ready to build a long‑term career in fire protection. No prior fire sprinkler experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to install commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems.
• Assist with installing pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, and sprinkler heads.
• Learn to read blueprints and sprinkler drawings.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Load and unload materials at the job site.
