Job summary

Wiginton Fire Systems is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Raleigh team. You will inspect, service, repair, troubleshoot, and install fire sprinkler systems at customer sites, delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on fire sprinkler service experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fire sprinkler system deficiencies.
• Inspect, service, maintain, and install sprinkler systems at client sites.
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete service tickets and reports accurately.

• Maintain NFPA compliance and safety procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you'll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing fire sprinkler systems at customer locations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair fire sprinkler system deficiencies.
• Perform inspections, service, maintenance, and installations on fire sprinkler systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Complete service tickets, inspection reports, and required documentation accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Maintain compliance with NFPA standards, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on fire sprinkler service experience.
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-6 years of fire sprinkler service experience.
• NICET certification.
• Experience with other fire protection systems such as fire alarm, suppression, or extinguishers.

Please note: This position requires previous fire sprinkler service experience. Candidates without applicable experience will not be considered.
