Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Bloomfield, CT is offering a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice position. You will assist with installing sprinkler systems under supervision, learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a clean driving record, and willingness to participate in an apprenticeship program. Job involves physical tasks and travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• This will lead to an apprenticeship program in fire sprinklers.

• Perform tasks as directed and does not independently perform jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Fire sprinkler apprentice assists in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. The apprentice works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools and equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.

Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.

Pay:

$18 to $22 per hour depending on experience and certifications.
