Job summary

Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to test and inspect installed sprinkler and alarm systems, verify equipment function, and ensure design adequacy. You will supervise Apprentices, train on-site, and coordinate with customers while adhering to safety rules. Qualifications

• 3+ years of Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarms Inspections experience.
• NICET II Certification or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to supervise Apprentices on the job.
• Travel within the local community is required.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to wear protective equipment on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and tests installed fire sprinkler and alarm systems to determine the adequacy of the system design and to verify all equipment is functioning properly.
• Visually inspects buildings to identify hazards, tests valves, and ensures alarms operate correctly.
• Completes inspection reports and forwards to required parties.
• Schedules inspections, pump tests, walk-throughs, and related tasks.
• Train Apprentices and supervise them on site.
