Job summary

Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman/Technician in our Concord, NC branch. You will lead installation teams, troubleshoot and repair sprinkler systems, and supervise apprentices to ensure safety and compliance with codes and WAFS standards.

You will work under the service superintendent/manager, be available for 24hr emergency calls, and support project timelines while maintaining quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a fire sprinkler foreman or related role.
• Hands-on experience installing fire sprinkler systems, reading blueprints, and system testing.
• Certifications preferred: NICET, OSHA 30-hour, lift certification; ABC/Wayne Academy programs.
• Proficient with company software; strong leadership of Fitters and Apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the installation of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee layout, assembly, and installation of pipes, supports, and related equipment; read blueprints.
• Assist with service work orders, carry materials, and manage job-site safety.
• Perform maintenance and replacement of valves, gauges, flow switches, tamper switches.
• Notify management of issues and changes on site; address performance concerns with leadership.
• Build strong relationships with general contractors to meet project goals.
