Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an IPSC Fire Service Supervisor in the Texas City area to oversee a team and ensure safe, compliant service delivery across fire protection systems. You will manage schedules, training, and field execution, coordinating with internal departments to meet safety, QA/QC, and cost targets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fire protection or related industries, NICET II, TWIC, and licenses, with strong leadership and budget acumen.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery, or related industry
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable for Total Safety vehicle insurance
• Willingness to travel to customers' sites including offshore projects
• Must obtain TWIC card and safety-related badges/certifications
• Must have State Fire Marshal licenses where applicable and NICET II
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software
• Ability to learn new software applications used by the company
• Commitment to safety, health, and company policies and procedures
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate resources for profitability and efficiency
• Ability to manage financial aspects and control costs

Responsibilities

• Plans daily/weekly schedules and operating priorities for assigned team minimizing down time
• Monitors labor reports
• Ensures team is producing at or above production, quality, and safety goals
• Ensures QA/QC, safety, environmental, and cost of operations goals are met
• Manages resources to achieve objectives; teaches cost control
• Provides leadership to achieve health and safety goals
• Identifies safety/environmental issues and escalates as needed
• Maintains inventory and daily status reports for tools and equipment
• Coordinates with Sales, Customer Service and other departments to resolve customer concerns
• Ensures documentation for inspections and repairs is complete and accurate
• Completes required reports and communications promptly
• Partner with HR for hiring/firing, performance evaluations, and salary actions
• Coaches team and documents employee relations issues
• Ensures safety and procedure training; develops staff skills
• Plans and oversees preventive maintenance programs
• Develops procedures and work standards
• Plans long- and short-term departmental goals
• Oversees contractors as required
