Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Fire Service Manager to lead a district service team delivering fire protection, life safety, and building solutions. The role ensures contractual obligations are fulfilled, customer concerns are resolved quickly, and service operations run efficiently across multiple systems.

You will supervise technicians, inspectors, and administrators, drive service sales, and manage safety compliance while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in an integrated systems sales/service environment, with supervisory exposure.
• Strong, positive leadership and people-management abilities.
• Solid understanding of P&L components and their impact on operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and online systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and driving history meeting company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary service team across district customers.
• Ensure contractual commitments are met and resolve service/collections issues promptly.
• Support service sales, revenue growth, profitability, and market potential across business segments.
• Manage expenses, accounts receivable, manpower, capital, and inventory per the financial plan.
• Strengthen customer communications from initial contact through delivery, installation, and service.
• Train service personnel, build team capability, and improve productivity and safety.
