Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled technicians to install, program, troubleshoot, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems at customer sites. You will interpret blueprints, perform panel programming, and ensure compliance with safety and contract specs.

The role involves travel, physical work, and occasional after-hours support. A high school diploma is required and an associate degree is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience reading blueprints, submittals and manuals.
• Experience with hand tools, test equipment, multimeters, and commissioning devices.
• Able to lift 50–70 lbs. and work in challenging positions.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control and CCTV systems at customer sites.
• Read blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation and safety.
• Coordinate with dispatch and complete documentation promptly.
• Provide after-hours service as required.
