Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Fire & Security Technician to install, service, and maintain intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems across commercial environments. The role requires hands-on experience with Bosch, DMP, Alarm.com, Hikvision, Hanwha, and Avigilon platforms, plus strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Travel locally to support customer sites and installation projects; read blueprints and drawings; ensure compliance with codes and company standards;

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fire Alarm, Security, or Low Voltage Technician.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Ability to read and interpret system drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls and projects.

Responsibilities

Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain intrusion detection systems.
Perform installation and service work for ATM/ITM banking security and intrusion systems.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV/video surveillance systems.
Install, inspect, service, and repair commercial fire alarm systems.
Install and support access control systems, including hardware and software configuration.
Conduct system testing, programming, and commissioning of fire and security systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately.
Complete project documentation, service reports, and compliance records.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, company standards, and customer requirements.
Travel locally as needed to support customer sites and installation projects.
