Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Fire Service Manager to lead a team of technicians, service reps, inspectors, and administrators for district service customers.

You will ensure contractual obligations are met and resolve service and collection issues to strengthen customer relations. Responsibilities include revenue and fiscal management, customer communications, staff development, and safety/compliance leadership across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in an integrated systems sales/service environment with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and the ability to train and develop staff.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive service outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Revenue responsibility: implement plans to meet/exceed goals and grow service sales and profitability.
• Fiscal responsibility: manage department expenses, AR, manpower, and inventory.
• Customer service responsibility: ensure effective communication and long-term relationships.
• Productivity improvement: train staff, drive efficiency, and set performance metrics.
• Employee development: hire, coach, and ensure policy comprehension and compliance.
• Safety & legal compliance: uphold EH&S policies and applicable laws.
