Job summary

TechniFire Solutions Limited is seeking an Estimator/Designer to join the expanding Estimating and Design Department in Rainham, Kent. The role focuses on delivering accurate quotations aligned with company strategy across health care, education and blue‑chip sectors.

The ideal candidate will quote from technical reports and drawings, and have experience in firearms and security system design, quoting, and surveying. Travel to London and surrounding areas may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing fire and security systems.
• Experience in quoting and surveying.
• Ability to interpret engineering reports, drawings and tender specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Estimating Team throughout the bid process and prepare pricing schedules and bid documentation.
• Carry out take-offs from tender drawings and prepare material schedules for pricing.
• Provide commercial analysis of quotations from sub‑contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare fire and security estimates from project specs and drawings with accurate allowances.
• Maintain records of quotations for traceability and final reviews.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely, high‑quality bids.
• Attend tender reviews with Company Directors and present bids to clients.
