Job summary

4way Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer for Birmingham, with door-to-door travel and a generous OTE. The role covers servicing, installation, and maintenance of fire and security systems across sites.

You will ensure compliance with current laws and standards while delivering responsive support to clients. The ideal candidate has 3+ years installing and servicing electronic security systems, including fire, intruder, CCTV and access control, and holds a valid UK driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience installing and servicing electronic security systems.
• Experience with Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong fault-finding and system servicing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred).
• Must be eligible for enhanced security screening.
• Fluent in German (Preference but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and reactive maintenance on fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV equipment.
• Perform installation of fire alarms, intruder alarm systems, access control systems and CCTV equipment.
• Complete all work in accordance with current legislation and relevant British Standards.
• Respond to and manage customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
