Job summary

CRV Surveillance in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Fire Alarm and Security Systems Installer to join our on-site team. You will install, test, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems, CCTV and access control, and related hardware and software, following project plans and wiring standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of installer experience, and a valid driver's license. You will work with a Lead Technician, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to on-time, high-quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics or fire protection preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a fire alarm and/or security installer.
• Experience with fire, burglar, intrusion systems, access control, and security cameras.
• Certifications AESBL, NICET, NFPA, ESA or manufacturer-specific are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and related hardware and software.
• Run wiring, mount devices, and connect systems to network infrastructure.
• Inspect and test installed systems for proper functionality and code compliance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and troubleshoot system malfunctions under guidance.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and communicate effectively with team members.
