Job summary

The candidate will lead program scheduling, advising, instructor recruitment and performance management while upholding safety and risk policies and ensuring program excellence
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Fire Science degree and certificate programs
- Supervise CPAT program administration and state certification exams
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and inventory for the programs
- Arrange deliveries to outreach locations and manage program equipment
- Recruit, interview and supervise full-time, part-time and assistant instructors and staff
- Evaluate instructors and oversee performance with regular observations
- Schedule and train lead and assistant instructors to meet industry teaching ratios
- Ensure safety standards and implement risk management policies
- Serve as first point of contact for grievances related to the programs
- Assist in faculty recruitment, training and performance management
