Job summary

Shambaugh & Son L.P is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to inspect, test, service, and install portable extinguishers and related fire safety systems in accordance with applicable codes. You will also pursue new business opportunities and maintain thorough documentation of all activities.

Ideal candidates will be familiar with NFPA codes, comfortable with traveling to client sites, and able to work independently while delivering high-quality service and professional communication with

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
• Understand basic database software usage and IOS operations.
• Ability to operate test equipment used for fire extinguisher systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, and install portable fire extinguishers and suppression systems.
• Follow NFPA codes and standards in daily work.
• Solicit new business for extinguisher inspections and restaurant fire suppression.
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily tasks and inspections.
• Work with customers and provide excellent service.
• Travel may be required to accommodate schedule.
• Possess strong safety and professional appearance.
