Job summary

Shambaugh & Son L.P is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to inspect, test, service, and install portable fire extinguishers and related safety systems in accordance with applicable fire codes. The role involves visiting customer sites, maintaining precise records, and delivering professional customer service.

OT and travel may be required to meet schedules. Candidates should be comfortable with NFPA standards, possess PC skills, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a fire extinguisher technician.
• Familiar with NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to travel, including nights and weekends, to accommodate customer schedules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, service, and install portable fire extinguishers and related safety equipment per fire codes.
• Conduct inspections for established customers in a timely, quality manner.
