Job summary

Shambaugh & Son L.P is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to inspect, test, service, and install portable extinguishers and related safety systems in accordance with applicable codes.

You will work at client sites, travel as needed, maintain documentation, and ensure high standards of safety and customer service. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a fire extinguisher technician.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to travel to client sites and perform inspections as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and service portable fire extinguishers and suppression systems.
• Install fire safety equipment in accordance with fire codes.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service.
• Travel to client sites as required, including nights/weekends.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
