Job summary

CertaSite, LLC is seeking a Shop Technician Apprentice to perform shop services for extinguishers, cylinders, and other compressed gas equipment. You will help maintain inventory, keep the shop organized, and support DOT compliance. This is an entry-level role with growth potential within a fast-growing fire protection company.

Responsibilities include recording inspections, maintaining tools, and ensuring safety procedures are followed in a dynamic shop environment in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions and software (Windows, Word, iOS, Android, Outlook).
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory in the shop and assist with counts.
• Perform inventory counts as required.
• Keep shop organized and clean.
• Ensure DOT compliance for hydro systems and other key areas of the business.
• Record and document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations.
