The Fire Safety Officer II Paramedic (Quick Response Vehicle Medic) protects life and property by providing Fire & Emergency Medical Services response including emergency medical care, fire suppression, hazardous materials, technical rescue, fire and injury prevention, and educational programs. Performs other duties as assigned. May supervise the activities of personnel performing fire‑fighting and rescue duties and contribute to reducing fire hazards while maintaining and operating fire equipment.

Expected Salary Range: $45,300.00 - $61,100.00
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Emergency Response – In the event of an emergency closure or modified operations, this position is required to respond in order to provide the University's initial response to the emergency situation, including the execution of mission essential functions. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on call.
