GEO Secured Services is seeking a Fire and Safety Manager to oversee facility safety programs and loss-prevention initiatives. You will ensure regulatory compliance and provide expert guidance to facility leadership.

Responsibilities include developing local safety procedures, conducting inspections, delivering training, and coordinating audits across GEO facilities, with a focus on protecting employees and detainees alike. A valid driver’s license is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree plus training or education in occupational/industrial health and safety; two years in a correctional safety role or five years in military/other industry involving fire safety.
• Certification in fire and safety procedures within two years of entering position.
• Extensive knowledge of local, state and federal health and safety laws including OSHA and NFPA.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, site plans and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Monitors and enforces safety policies at corporate and facility levels; develops local safety procedures.
• Conducts scheduled safety inspections of the facility, equipment and vehicles; recommends corrective action.
• Provides initial and ongoing safety training for staff and inmates or residents.
• Drives safety audits and participates in compliance assessments of other facilities.
• Manages material safety data sheets (MSDS) compliance and PPE usage.
