The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional to lead safety and loss prevention programs across facilities. You will ensure compliance with current safety regulations and advise management on safety topics.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, conducting inspections, and delivering staff training to uphold a safe environment for employees, inmates, and visitors. Minimum requirements include a relevant bachelor's degree, OSHA/NFPA knowledge, and the ability to read complex

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree with training in occupational/industrial health and safety; 2 years in a correctional safety role or 5 years in related safety field.
• Certification in fire and safety within 2 years of starting.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA and NFPA laws and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and site plans.

Mansioni

• Develop safety procedures for employees, inmates, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement changes.
• Provide ongoing safety training for staff and residents.
• Lead compliance audits and safety programs across facilities.
• Maintain OSHA logs and safety records; ensure PPE usage and hygiene standards.
