Qualifications

• Knowledge of Ohio fire codes, basic building codes, and related fire and life safety standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fire and life safety inspections of new and existing occupancies to ensure code compliance.
• Review building plans for compliance with fire and building codes.
• Review evacuation plans and emergency procedures.
• Investigate fire causes and perform follow-up inspections as needed.
• Maintain accurate inspection and enforcement records.
• Ensure compliance with Ohio Revised Code and related standards.
