Our current opening is for a Fire Safety Field Engineer (Technician). The Fire Safety Field Engineer is responsible for programming and troubleshooting Fire Alarm systems. Applicant must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: Fire Systems, Common Electrical Instruments and their usage, Local and Wide Area Networking, Life Safety and Security Codes/Standards. Additional responsibilities include:
• Responsible for installing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ensure quality completion of project.
• Ability to work with hand tools for mounting, assembling, testing, and programming systems.
• Ability to read and understand project plan drawings.
• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Provides technical support to customers.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
