Job summary

Houston Community College (HCC) seeks an Instructor Engineering for full-time faculty assignment. You will deliver engineering courses, develop syllabi, and employ varied teaching modalities to support student success across campus locations.

You will advise students, participate in ABET-related activities, and contribute to program development, assessment, and college service. A Master's in Engineering and 1 year teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 18 completed hours in Engineering.
• Copy of transcript conferring required degree and certification(s).
• 1 year college-level teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses with varied modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online).
• Develop syllabi for courses and submit to chair.
• Evaluate/provide feedback on student progress.
• Maintain accurate student records and reports.
• Engage in academic advising and professional development.
• Support ABET accreditation efforts.
