Job summary

CM Mission Critical Engineering is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to ensure safety during fire events, design sprinklers and alarm systems, and verify building code compliance. You will develop evacuation plans and work within a fast-paced, technically rigorous team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in fire protection engineering, 1–3 years of design experience, and familiarity with Revit/AutoCAD. E.I.T. is preferred; PE licensure is a plus. Travel to construction sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering or related field is required.
• 1–3 years of fire protection design experience.
• E.I.T. certification preferred but not required.
• PE certification or active licensure pursued is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produces highly detailed construction drawings across disciplines.
• Coordinates with internal team members to support project success.
• Designs compliant fire protection and fire alarm systems.
• Assists with submittal reviews, RFIs, and construction‑phase documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
