Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join their North America Fire Protection Engineering Team. Responsibilities include assisting in engineering designs, performing calculations, and collaborating with other engineering professionals. A Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field is required, along with 0-3 years of experience. This position offers a chance to work on diverse projects in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or closely related field.
• Zero to three years of related work experience in fire protection engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply concepts of fire protection engineering in support of engineering projects.
• Perform calculations for fire suppression and detection systems.
• Assist in preparing engineering designs and compliance verifications.
• Collaborate with other professionals on project delivery.
• Provide support services during construction inspections.
