Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Helper to support sprinkler fitters in assembly and installation on commercial construction sites. You will assist with pipe cutting, threading and fittings, inspections, deficiencies and repairs on various job sites within our new construction division.

Essential qualifications include 6 months of construction or sprinkler experience, basic tools knowledge and math skills, plus the ability to multi-task, follow instructions and work

Qualifications

• 6+ months construction or sprinkler experience or equivalent
• Basic tools and materials knowledge
• Basic math/computation skills
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
• Follow written and oral instructions
• Adhere to company policies
• Able to report to multiple job sites

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, test, adjust and remove sprinkler systems
• Select pipe type and size per instructions
• Cut, thread and hang pipe
• Assist in installing valves and fittings
• Assist lifting/positioning of materials
• Follow construction practices and company policy
• Perform other duties as assigned
