Job summary

State Systems in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a FIRE PROTECTION SALES/SERVICE TECHNICIAN to join our growing Mid-South team. This hands-on role combines sales and service, with opportunities to meet new customers and provide effective protection solutions.

Candidates should be self-motivated, well organized, and comfortable traveling nights and weekends. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, along with strong communication, problem solving, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Willingness to travel, nights and weekends to accommodate customers.
• Strong communication, negotiating, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Sells services and products within assigned territory and maintains quota.
• Identify prospects using lead generation techniques.
• Present sales proposals highlighting advantages over competitors.
• Follow up with prospects.
• Inspect, service, install fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and exit lighting.
• Process work orders and complete paperwork per procedures.
