Job summary

Northstar Fire Protection is seeking an Fire Protection Project Manager to lead the construction of quality fire protection systems. The role covers overseeing design, labor, and construction in Hospitals and commercial facilities, coordinating with general contractors and AHJs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to scope and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading the design, labor, and construction of fire protection systems in hospitals and other commercial/industrial buildings.
  • Computer literate; comfortable with spreadsheets and computerized software programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects for Fire Protection Systems.
  • Attend project jobsite meetings, start up meetings and understand the complete scope of work required for projects.
  • Review and understand all of the project bid documents.
  • Assist with change order estimates.
  • Coordinate with General contractors and Construction managers for scheduling and other coordination types of meetings.
  • Complete equipment submittals of various products for approvals.
  • Assist accounting staff with billing information.
  • Maintain and follow Operations and Maintenance manuals.
  • Work as a team with our engineering and estimating staff.
  • Submittal and retrieve permits from local AHJ.
  • Purchasing of selected materials for your project.
  • Assist and provide support for field operations.
  • Able to see the overall requirements of customer satisfaction without losing sight of the details.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

  • Manage multiple projects for Fire Protection Systems.
