Job summary

Value Added Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Program Improvement Support Specialist in Aiken, SC. The role focuses on internal fire protection assessments, data analysis, and working with engineers and operations to close gaps in the program.

The position requires a BS/AS degree with 10 years in project/technical support, QA auditing, and experience with S/RID implementation. Strong document control and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with 10 years of relevant experience in project/technical support or document/configuration control in nuclear/chemical facilities.
• Experience with electronic document control and configuration management systems.
• Experience with S/RID requirement implementation at SRS.
• QA auditing experience.
• Casual Analysis experience.
• Conduct of Operation training.
• Operational Readiness Review or comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, assess, and extract information from assessments, procedure, and reports.
• Support development and maintenance of fire protection databases and systems.
• Perform Casula Analyses using CST and other sources to design remediation and proactive resolutions.
• Collaborate with FPEs, DAE’s and Operations to revise procedures and training to support DOE-STD-1066-2012 and Site Manual 2Q.
