Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. seeks a Fire Protection / Life Safety Systems Engineer for a 5‑month contract into a full-time role in Tempe, AZ.

You will lead projects that protect key facility operations and enable core functions, delivering code-compliant asset protection and fire/life safety mitigation solutions. You will work with senior design professionals, mentor junior staff, and take ownership as Engineer of Record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with PE licensure eligibility.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on AutoCAD design experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 101/72/70/400.
• Experience with Fire Alarm, VESDA, CCTV and hazardous materials systems.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

Responsabilités

• Design and model fire protection systems using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Perform engineering calculations, sizing, and layouts per codes.
• Prepare specifications, diagrams, and 2D/3D deliverables.
• Interface with clients and code officials to ensure compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and project leadership as Engineer of Record.
