Job summary
All-State Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Inspector to join our team in Buffalo, NY. This role performs inspections, testing, and documentation for fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities.
We provide growth opportunities, training, certification advancement, and career development. Target pay range is $28-32/hr, depending on experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler inspection experience.
- Proficiency with mobile devices and field service software.
- Ability to travel between customer locations daily.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
- Coordinate with scheduling and inspection teams to complete tasks.
- Test components such as batteries, initiating devices, and control panels.
- Identify deficiencies and document findings for customers.
- Travel daily between client sites and support occasional overnight travel.
- Stay current on NFPA codes and manufacturer requirements.
