Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dedicated Fire Protection Inspector to join our Oregon-based team. The role involves inspecting and maintaining fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards across diverse facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and provide excellent customer service on site. With at least 2 years of experience and NICET Level 2, you’ll travel to various sites to test, inspect, and repair systems, while advancing your

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Level 2 NICET certification.
Experience with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, inspection/testing, maintenance, life safety, backflow prevention, documentation, customer service, troubleshooting, field service, system diagnostics, and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability.
Inspect and maintain life safety systems and backflow prevention devices.
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation of all activities.
Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to queries.
Troubleshoot and diagnose faults, carrying out repairs or replacements.
Provide field service support at various sites.
Conduct safety inspections and identify hazards, taking corrective action.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
