Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with ABET accreditation or equivalent.
• Professional engineering background or registration requirements must be met.
• Foreign education must be evaluated for equivalency to U.S. programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate designs of integrated fire protection systems including suppression and detection.
• Design and promote fire safety standards and perform performance-based analyses.
• Oversee fire tests, system concepts, and calculations for fire growth and egress.
• Reviews construction plans and issues permits and notices as needed.
• Develop scopes of work for contracts and monitor contractor performance.
