Job summary

Tesla Laboratories, a SDVOSB, seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest Design Division projects in the Puget Sound region. You will perform fire protection analyses, calculations, plans, and specifications for water-based, chemical-based, and gaseous suppression systems, and coordinate with government clients and stakeholders.

Requires a 4-year engineering degree and at least 6 years of design management experience; a U.S. PE license is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Engineering college curriculum (4-year degree minimum).
• Minimum of 6 years of Design Management and/or Design experience performing the tasks described above.
• P.E. license in fire protection is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team members to execute project scope and track budget.
• Create project technical dashboards using MS Power BI, Project, and Excel.
• Review design changes and submittals for compliance with requirements.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and field inspections.
• Prepare and deliver briefs and reports to stakeholders.
