Job summary

CM Mission Critical Engineering in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to safeguard people, property, and businesses from fire and smoke. You will analyze fire risks, design specialized sprinkler and alarm systems, and ensure building code compliance while developing evacuation plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's in fire protection engineering (or related field), 1–3 years of design experience, and optionally E.I.T/PE licensure as you advance within a highly technical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering or a closely related field
• 1–3 years of fire protection design experience
• E.I.T. certification preferred but not required
• PE certification or active licensure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Produces highly detailed, coordinated construction drawings across all disciplines
• Coordinates with internal team members to support project success
• Integrates into a highly technical team & delivers high‑quality work
• Designs compliant & effective fire protection systems & fire alarm systems
• Assists with submittal reviews, RFIs, & construction‑phase documentation
• Performs other duties as assigned
