Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer for its Life Sciences team in Conshohocken, PA. You will design fire protection and fire alarm systems, ensure code compliance and safety, and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Role requires 4+ years in fire protection engineering, and a PE license or eligibility within six months. Hybrid work model and strong client interaction are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering.
4+ years of technical fire protection experience in engineering or consulting.
Working knowledge of building and fire codes and NFPA/FM design standards.
Understanding or applied use of CFD.
Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation and Revit/Revit MEP.

Responsibilities

Design fire protection and fire alarm scope on projects, ensuring code compliance and safety standards.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver Fire Protection solutions.
Support and guide junior engineers and staff, providing technical direction.
