Stantec is seeking a Fire Protection Engineering Intern to support a design team in Boston, MA, and Houston, TX. You will assist with fire protection system layouts, hydraulic calculations, and code research under guidance from a senior engineer.

This internship offers exposure to REVIT/AutoCAD, model development, and technical reporting within a collaborative engineering environment at Stantec.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection or related engineering field from ABET-accredited college.
• Incoming junior, senior year, or grad student standing.
• Completion of fire protection engineering courses is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist design team with fire protection system layouts (REVIT/AutoCAD).
• Perform hydraulic calculations and fire code research.
• Prepare design drawings, specs, and technical reports.
• Support field surveys and site visits under supervision.
• Contribute to project coordination with architecture and engineering teams.
• Assist with submittals, RFI responses, and progress inspections.
