Job summary

Cromwell Architects Engineers in Charlotte seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to design and implement fire alarm and suppression systems, collaborating with architects and builders to ensure safety and compliance during construction.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in fire protection or related field, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in design software (Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office), and knowledge of building codes. PE license is preferred; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in fire protection engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in fire protection design software and knowledge of building codes is essential.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications based on design.
• Review design drawings in relation to plans and specifications.
