Job summary

Sigil Partners is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to design and implement fire alarm and suppression systems, ensuring safety and compliance during construction. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and builders to integrate fire protection into building designs.

Responsibilities include design calculations, specifications, reviews, and on-site surveys. Travel up to 10% to project sites and meetings; strong knowledge of codes and software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in fire protection engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in fire protection design software and knowledge of building codes is essential.

Job description

The Fire Protection Engineer designs and implements fire protection alarm and suppression systems to ensure safety and compliance with fire safety regulations in various environments. The Engineer will work closely with architects, engineers and builders to integrate fire protection systems into building designs during the construction phase.
